My name is Scott, and I started Pro Touch Detailing back in college when I discovered a way to channel my passion and hobby of cars into a business model. In high school, after purchasing my first car, a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT, I would spend hours in the garage detailing the car, going over every inch with a fine tooth comb, and correcting any imperfections I could find. Soon I found my friends, co-workers, and family, contacting me to do the same thing on their car, and care for it as if it was mine.
Soon after heading to college at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, I picked up a job at a local Porsche dealership in order to hone my detailing skills. Here is where I learned the art of machine polishing with a rotary, the dangers it entails if you are careless or inexperienced, but also the incredible results it produces. After a year of learning all of the "ins and outs" of professional detailing, and the products used, I wanted to continue this type of work of bringing dirty, neglected, uncared for cars back to life, and began detailing privately for a local car club. Most of my work entailed machine polishing and swirl removal, and was being closely watched by the proud owners of each vehicle which ranged from a factory Chevrolet Suburban to a 1,000 horsepower turbocharged Mustang.
Today, I currently reside in the Lakeland, Florida area, and am serving Tampa and Lakeland area residents with all of their detailing needs! My current hobbies include any kind of water sports and motorsports, but am usually too busy working to enjoy them! My true passion has been and always will be cars, and I am a big Mustang fan. I have owned a 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra powered by a Kenne Bell supercharger putting down 608 rear wheel horsepower, and a 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (both pictured below).
